Jumanji

A Jumanji board used in the film of the same name. This board is an open version of the game, with instructions written on the inside. The board has a very detailed jungle scene on the reverse with an elephant, monkey, rhinoserous, and the notorious Hunter Van pelt surrounding the edges. This SFX board has the back center cut away and was used to light up the board from underneath. This board can be screen matched to the climatic scene where Alan reaches the center and calls out "Jumanji".

"Jumanji. A game for those who seek to find a way to leave their world behind. You roll the dice to move your token. Doubles gets another turn. And the first player to reach the end wins. You wanna play?"-Alan Parrish

A pair of dice used throughout the film. The dice are made to look very old and worn, and the number patterns are slightly different than those found on real dice. This pair can be matched to several parts of the film.

The game token used by Peter throughout the game. The piece is a brownish/green, and created in the shape of a monkey.
